Numerous options for individuals or families who need emergency housing are available in The City of White Plains, Westchester County, and New York City.

Referrals for emergency housing assistance are based on the circumstances of the persons involved.  The Westchester County Department of Social Services (DSS) assists low income households  and individuals secure Section 8 housing if they qualify.  Housing Assistance referrals are also made to the DSS by Alcance Latino for persons with disabilities who are facing eviction.
